Failure = Lesson Learned
Real Title: Pash…failure nope not admitting to it
This post goes deeper into an Author Mindset that I’ve posted to the fb page, other social media as well as here on the blog.
Do you fail?
Of course we all do. When you fail you think of it as something bad or to be ashamed of. And it’s not. Failure is something we gain knowledge from. This gives us insights into what works, what can we do different next time, and gives valuable information.
And expect to fail again and again and so many times. No one gets it right the first time or even the millionth or however many times and that’s good so we know what failure is. We know how it’s a valuable tool in your Author Boss Toolkit. Each fail is something we do to learn to grow and to adapt.
Remember those things.
Learn
Grow
Adapt
They are also in your Author Boss Toolkit.
So next time you don’t do as expected with something think of it as:
Failure = Lesson Learned
Now you know it’s coming. Here it is.
Blueprint Lite ~ Action Item:
Whenever you see “Blueprint Lite ~ Action Item” that means this is something for you to do.
We’re about to take Failure = Lesson Learned for a spin.
Failure = Lesson Learned spinning all around and right around!
Think of a time you failed at something in your author career.
Write down all the aspects that did not work. Ie. explore your failure. Now think on what you learned from them. Write down what you learned. Then think again how you will use this lesson learned in the future.
Now go out there and kick butt getting stuff done.
