Lesson Learned ~ There Are Not Enough Hours To Do It All
Each week I’ll post a Lesson Learned. Here’s this weeks. This is a repost.
There is a long to do list and I don’t know how I’m going to get it all done. This is something I have faced so often. For the last few years I’ve gotten better at getting everything done. How’d I do that?
I set a schedule that is doable as in not setting a schedule where I know I can’t get it all done. My old schedule was one where it was too much on it and I hoped by some miracle I would get to half of it and I knew no way I would get it all done. With that schedule I was already setting myself up for failure. And when I didn’t finish items on my list then I well felt like a failure. So years ago I adjusted my schedule to what is a doable schedule.
The lesson learned is set a to do list based on what you can do and not one you know you will fail.
I’m gonna end with the same statement I made and continue to make – do what is right for you.
